Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 2 cup(s) tomatoes, chopped, with juice (fresh or canned)
  • 6 chicken thighs, or 3 lb chicken, cut up
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ pound(s) garlic-y sausage, sliced
  • 6 clove(s) garlic, or to taste, sliced
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 4 cup(s) chicken stock
    • 1 teaspoon(s) turmeric
    • salt and pepper
    • 12 large shrimp
    • 12 black olives
    • 1 small lemon, cut into wedges
    • 2 cup(s) rice

Heat oil in large oven-proof pan. Salt and pepper chicken pieces, skin off or on, as preferred. Brown chicken well on all sides and set aside.
