Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 4 1/2-pound chicken, quartered, backbone removed
  • 6 large garlic cloves
  • ½ cup chicken stock or canned chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • fresh parsley
  • 1 cup frozen green peas

    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
    • ½ teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
    • 2 large russet potatoes (about 14 ounces each)
