Clay Pot Baked Chicken


  • 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
  • 3 pound(s) to 4 pounds whole chicken
  • Paprika for garnish
  • 2 clove(s) to 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup(s) parsley, stems removed
  • 1 tablespoon(s) fresh rosemary (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter or canola oil
