Crisp Curried Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 2 Tbs. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbs. rice vinegar
  • ¾ tsp. mild curry powder
  • 6 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 1 cup panko (see note)
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ½ small shallot, minced
    • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
    • 2 Tbs. honey
    • 1 lb. chicken breast tenders

Position a rack 6 inches from the broiler element and heat the broiler on high for at least 10 minutes. Combine the shallot and vinegar in a small bowl and set aside for at least 10 minutes.
