Hazelnut Gnocchi with Sage Glaze

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Gnocchi:
  • 1 tablespoon fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 pound Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (about 4 1/2 ounces), divided
  • + 9 more ingredients
    • Glaze:
    • ½ cup hazelnut meal
    • 1 large egg yolk
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 ½ teaspoons chopped fresh sage
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 gallon water
    • 1 tablespoon butter

To prepare gnocchi, combine 1/4 cup water and potatoes in a microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave at HIGH 10 minutes or until tender. Drain potatoes; mash potatoes with a potato masher.
