Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons brown mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 ¼ pounds chicken thighs (with skin and bones)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 3-inch cinnamon stick
