  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (½ stick), melted

  • 4 skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons finely ground black pepper

    • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
    • 3 tablespoons hot sauce, such as Tabasco
    • 4 large garlic cloves, peeled and lightly crushed
    • 2 cups well-shaken buttermilk

Combine buttermilk, garlic, hot sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne in a large bowl and stir until evenly combined.
