Ingredients

  • 1 14- to 16-oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 8 cups water
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • fresh dill
  • 1 electric coffee/spice grinder
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • ½ cup dry white wine
    • 1/3 cup fresh dill
    • 3 large garlic cloves
    • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
    • 2 pounds skinless boneless chicken breast halves
    • 1 cup hard wheat berries
    • 1 ¾ teaspoons salt
    • 2 ounces dried porcini

Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a 2-quart heavy saucepan, then add rice and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
