Roasted Miso Chicken Wings


  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • Cooking spray, for greasing
  • 2 scallions, sliced, for garnish, optional
  • ¼ cup light soy sauce
  • 3 heaping tablespoons yellow miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated peeled ginger
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
    • 1 dozen chicken wings, separated at the joints, wingtips removed
    • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

Whisk together the soy, miso, honey, ginger, brown sugar and garlic until well combined. Put the wings into a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade mixture over them.
