Southern Chicken Parmesan on Broken Spaghetti and Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 ounce each) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ c of pan searing flour or all purpose flour, sifted
  • 4 T extra virgin olive oil, divided
  • 3 T butter, divided
  • 1 c of your favorite Marinara sauce
  • ½ lb of fresh, thin Asparagus, slice into 1 inch pieces
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 1 large clove of garlic, minced
    • 8 oz spaghetti noodles (break into 1 to 1 1/2 inch pieces)
    • 4 slice crisp bacon
    • 1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 c shredded parmesan cheese, divided
    • 2 T fresh basil, chopped

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place chicken between sheets of waxed paper. Pound the chicken 1/4-inch thickness. Peel off wax paper and salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet on MEDIUM-HIGH. Dust chicken with flour and pat off excess. Add c...
