BARBECUE SAUCE FOR CHICKEN OR PORK

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped fine (small)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon(s) bacon drippings
  • 2/3 cup(s) tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon(s) vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon(s) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup(s) beef, pork, or chicken broth
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoon(s) prepared mustard

Fry onion in bacon drippings until soft and light yellow. Add remaining ingredients and simmer slowly for 15 minutes or until fairly thick. Serve hot on roasted meats. Yield: about 2 cups.
