Chicken Tagine With Dates and Honey

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup blanched almond, roasted
  • ¼ cup good quality honey
  • ½ cup dates, carefully stoned
  • 1 ½ cups chicken stock
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon chili powder
    • 3 -4 teaspoons ras el hanout spice mix
    • 2 tablespoons good quality olive oil
    • 5 -6 garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 brown onions, sliced thinly
    • 1 kg boneless chicken thighs
