Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 12 4-inch corn tortillas
  • ½ cup water
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup white onion
  • 1/3 cup finely crumbled queso fresco (Mexican fresh cheese)
  • 3 tablespoons crema or crème fraîche
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 3 fresh green serrano chiles
    • 3 garlic cloves
    • ¼ cup white onion
    • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • ½ pound fresh tomatillos
    • 1 cup cooked chicken
