Ingredients

  • 2-½ cups vegetable oil
  • 9 oz. (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 8 chicken drumsticks, skin removed
  • 2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp. celery seed
  • 2 tsp. Bell’s Poultry Seasoning
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 2 tsp. onion powder
    • 2-½ tsp. kosher salt; more as needed
    • 2 Tbs. chili powder
    • ½ to ¾ tsp. cayenne

Put the flour in a large, sturdy brown paper bag and the yogurt in a medium bowl.
