Grilled Chicken with Pinot-Plum Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Cooking spray
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup pinot noir or other dry red wine
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • Chicken:
    • 4 (6-ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 2 cups chopped ripe plums (about 3 small)

To prepare sauce, combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan (A); bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 25 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally (B).
