Lemon and Sage Chicken

- 2 large garlic cloves, grated
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 (4-pound) roasting chicken
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup minced fresh sage leaves
