Marinated Lemon Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

  • 3 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 T canola oil
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 T chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 t fresh thyme
  • 2 t finely grated lemon rind
  • 1 t salt divided
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • ¾ t coarsely ground black pepper, divided
    • 4 (14-oz) bone-in chicken breasts, cut in half crosswise
    • ½ c fresh lemon juice
    • 2 T extra-virgin olive oil
    • 1 T red wine vinegar
    • 2 t honey mustard
