  • 2 green onions
  • 8 large basil leaves
  • 1 ¼ pounds ground chicken
  • 4 1/2-inch-thick slices country white bread
  • 1 ½ tablespoons brine from jar
  • 3 tablespoons cornichons or dill pickle
  • 1 ¼ cups fresh basil
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • Olive oil
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • 4 1/3-inch-thick slices from large red or orange heirloom tomato
