1/2 Cup Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoonsolive oil
  • ½ cuponion, chopped
  • 4 cupschicken broth
  • ½ cupfresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoonhot pepper flakes
  • ½ cupcarrot, diced
  • ½ cupmushroom, diced
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • ½ cupgreen beans, chopped
    • ½ cupgarbanzo beans
    • ½ cup cooked rice or ½ cupcookedorzo pasta
    • ½ cupcookedorzo pasta
    • ½ cupcooked chicken, diced
    • ½ cupcelery, diced
    • ½ cupzucchini, diced
    • ½ cupgreen peas

1 Heat oil in small Dutch oven. Saute vegetables until tender. 2 Add chicken broth and heat to simmer. Add remaining beans, rice or pasta if using. Heat to simmer. 3 Add parsley and pepper flakes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve at once.
