Braised Winter Greens with Bacon
Ingredients
- 6 pounds mixed winter greens, such as Swiss chard, mustard greens, and/or kale
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard seeds
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons red-wine vinegar
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 6 large garlic cloves, peeled
- 8 slices (about 10 oz.) applewood-smoked bacon, chopped
