Butter Sauce for Chicken


  • 2 tbsp minced shallots
  • 120 ml dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 180 ml double cream
  • ½ tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp dill weed
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 230 g butter, unsalted, cut into pieces

Combine shallots, wine and lemon juice in a saucepan. Simmer over low heat until liquid has reduced and thickened. Add cream and cook until liquid measures about 120ml. Stir in pepper sauce, salt and dill weed. Stir.
