Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Italian parsley
  • 1 ½ teaspoons coarse sea salt
  • 2 crustless slices fresh whole grain wheat bread
  • 4 cups butternut squash
  • 1 ½ tablespoons butter

    • 2 cups onions
    • 2 teaspoons fresh sage
    • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
    • 4 teaspoons butter
    • 6 cups Chicken Stock

Melt butter with oil in large pot over medium-high heat. Add onions, parsley, and sage; sauté until onions are softened, about 5 minutes.
