Chicken and Vegetables Slow Cooked


  • ½ teaspoon(s) black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 (3 to 4 pound) chicken, cut up and skin removed
  • large onion, coarsley chopped
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 2 stalks of celery, coarsely chopped
  • 2 ½ cup(s) chicken broth
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon(s) dried minced garlic
    • paprika
    • 4 pound(s) baby carrots

Coat slow cooker insert with non stick cooking spray. Place vegetables in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add just enough broth to cover vegetables. Season vegetables to taste and sprinkle on minced garlic. Place raw chicken on top of vegetables, season to taste, and sprinkle with paprika. Cover...
