Chicken Braised in Walnut Sauce
Ingredients
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 (14-ounce) can fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup finely chopped walnuts
- 4 (8-ounce) chicken breast halves, skinned
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
- ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper

- 2 cups cooked long-grain white and wild rice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned. Remove from pan.
