  • ½ cup red onion
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup Madeira
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 12 medium fresh sage leaves
  • 8 ounces chicken or turkey livers, finely chopped
  • 12 baguette slices
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
