    • 2 tablespoons minced red onion
    • 3 nectarines, chopped, peeled, and pitted
    • 5 red leaf lettuce leaves
    • 1 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves
    • 1/3 cup sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/3 cup sugar
