Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 medium carrots
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups canned garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • + 14 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 4 chicken leg-thigh pieces, skin removed, thighs and drumsticks separated
    • ½ cup fresh cilantro stems
    • ½ teaspoon ground coriander
    • 1 teaspoon turmeric
    • 1 large onion
    • 2 cups green beans
    • 6 large garlic cloves
    • ¼ cup fresh mint
    • ½ cup canned diced tomatoes in juice
    • 1 lemon
    • 1 tablespoon ginger
    • 2 chicken breast halves with bones, skin removed
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Heat oil in heavy large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cover and cook until onion is tender, stirring often, about 10 minutes. Add paprika and next 5 ingredients; stir 1 minute.
