Chicken Tamale Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Bell Pepper (optional)
  • 1 onion (small)
  • 1 stick(s) butter
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 can(s) rotel or garlic tomato sauce
  • 12 Mickey Brown tamales or deer tamales
  • 2 can(s) Chicken (large cans)
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • seasoning to taste
    • 1 pint(s) fat free half & half
    • 4 can(s) chicken broth
    • 1 can(s) green chilies (small can)

Sauté onion, green chilies, bell pepper and garlic in butter. Add rotel and cook for 20 mins on medium heat. Add chicken, tamales and broth and cook on low for 30 mins. Reduce heat to simmer. Slowly add half & half and simmer for 10-30 mins. ENJOY!
