Chicken Tetrazzini with Asiago Cheese

Ingredients

  • ½ cup grated Asiago cheese
  • ½ pound linguine or other pasta, cooked
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup white wine
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • ½ cup no-salt chicken broth
    • 2 tablespoon flour
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tablespoon sun-dried tomatoes, minced
    • 1 pound cremini mushrooms, trimmed and quartered
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 3 cup cooked chicken, shredded (meat from one 3 1/2-pound chicken)

Preheat oven to 375F. In large pot over medium heat, melt butter.  Add onion and garlic, sauteing until translucent, about 4 minutes.  Increase heat to high and stir in mushrooms.
