Chicken Vegetable Stew for a Crowd


  • 4 onions, sliced (medium)
  • 4 clove(s) garlic, minced
  • 6 pound(s) chicken strips
  • 6 zucchinis, sliced (medium)
  • 3 can(s) sliced mushrooms, optional (15 ounce cans)
  • 3 (28 oz.) cans tomato sauce, as needed
  • 1 ½ teaspoon(s) dried basil
