Creamy Corn Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 small yellow onion, chopped
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 sprig fresh thyme
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
- ¼ cup dry white wine
- 2 tsp. unsalted butter
- 1 Tbs. extra-virgin olive oil
- + 3 more ingredients

- 1-¾ cups lower-salt chicken broth
- 2 cups fresh corn kernels (from about 4 ears of corn)
- 1 tsp. all-purpose flour
Heat the oil in a 4-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until tender but not browned, about 3 minutes. Stir in the flour and cook, stirring, for about 1 minute.
