  • 1 cup(s) sherry
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can(s) pumpkin puree (LARGE can)
  • 1 stick(s) real butter
  • 1 cup(s) onion, finely diced
  • ½ cup(s) flour
  • 2 quart(s) chicken stock
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup(s) real maple syrup
    • 1 cup(s) celery, finely diced
    • 3 cup(s) heavy cream

Add butter to a soup pan and melt. Add onion and saut until translucent. Add celery and saut. Add flour and form roux. Add sherry and de-glaze pan. Add chicken stock; bring to a boil while mixing.
