Creamy White Chicken Chili 2

Ingredients

  • ½ cup(s) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 cup(s) sour cream
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon(s) pepper
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 2 can(s) each) chopped green chiles (4 ounces cans)
    • 1 can(s) chicken broth (14 ½ ounce can)
    • 2 can(s) each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained (15 ½ ounce cans)
    • 1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
    • 1 ½ teaspoon(s) garlic powder
    • 1 onion, chopped (medium)
    • 1 pound(s) boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into ½ inch cubes

In a large saucepan, sauté chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add the beans, broth, chiles and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in the sour cream and cream. Serve immediately.
