Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken-breast halves, 2 pork tenderloins, halved (1 1/2 to 2 pounds total), or 1 1/2 pounds skinless salmon fillet (4 pieces)
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 2 fresh pears -- unpeeled, cored, and cut into eighths

In a large, heavy skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of the oil over medium-high heat. Add the meat or fish in a single layer.
