Ferakh bel Tamatem


  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sunflower or vegetable oil (olive oil may leave too strong a taste)
  • 4 boned chicken breast halves (with or without skin)
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 clove(s) crushed garlic
  • 1 pound(s) tomatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces (or use one large can of diced/crushed tomatoes)
  • 1 - 2 teaspoon sugar
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon

Heat the butter with the oil in a skillet. Add the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and brown lightly on both sides. Add the garlic, tomatoes, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until the chicken is done but still juicy.
