Ingredients

  • ¾ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¾ cup all purpose flour
  • 8 cups collard greens
  • 2 cups green onions
  • 4 cups 1/2-inch cubes smoked ham
  • 10 cups low-salt chicken broth
  • 1 cup Italian parsley
  • + 12 more ingredients
    • 1 large bunch watercress
    • 3 tablespoons filé powder
    • 4 cups fresh spinach leaves
    • 6 cups leeks (white and pale green parts only)
    • 5 large garlic cloves
    • Perfect Rice
    • 2 cups celery
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • ½ teaspoon sugar
    • 8 cups mustard greens
    • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
    • 11 tablespoons vegetable oil

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in heavy extra-large pot over medium-high heat. Add ham; sauté until browned, about 10 minutes. Transfer to bowl and reserve.
