Halibut Wrapped in Greens

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup minced shallots
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 12 large turnip leaves
  • Lemon slices (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup bottled clam juice
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • ½ cup (1/4-inch) cubed peeled turnips
    • 1/3 cup dry white wine
    • 6 (6-ounce) halibut fillets or other lean white fish fillets
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 ½ teaspoons cornstarch
    • ¼ teaspoon salt

Combine shallots and garlic. Rub 1 teaspoon shallot mixture over each fillet; cover and chill. Place remaining shallot mixture, broth, juice, turnips, and wine in a small saucepan.
