Ingredients

  • 2 small yellow squash, cut in half and sliced
  • 12 fresh or frozen asparagus spears, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil

    • 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
    • 2 plum tomatoes, chopped
    • 10 ounce angel hair pasta, cooked
    • 6 garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 large shallots, finely chopped
    • ½ cup chopped fresh watercress
    • ½ pound unpeeled, medium-size fresh shrimp
    • ½ cup chopped fresh Italian parsley
    • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
