Pasta with Sausage and Red Grapes

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 6 ounces mild Italian sausage
  • 10 ounces whole-wheat orecchiette (or other short-cut pasta, such as farfalle or penne)
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
    • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
    • 2 cups seedless red grapes
    • 3 ¼ teaspoons salt (preferably kosher)

Set a large pot of water to boil. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat, stirring and breaking up, until well browned, about 15 minutes. Transfer sausage to a paper towel.
