Penne in Country Rag

Ingredients

• ½ cup fresh basil
• ½ cup Chianti or other dry red wine
• 1 cup low-salt chicken broth
• 2 cups canned whole Italian-style plum tomatoes
• 1 celery
• 1 medium onion
• 2 medium carrots
