Ingredients

  • ¼ cup(s) onions, diced
  • ½ cup(s) mushrooms, diced
  • 2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 3 cup(s) rice
  • ¼ cup(s) oil, canola or olive
  • 5 cup(s) water
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, minced (1 teaspoon)
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon(s) black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon(s) chicken seasoning blend

In a large skillet, over medium heat brown the rice in the oil. After the rice has browned, add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Do not uncover during this time.
