Ingredients

  • 5 cup(s) chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 ½ cup(s) Rice
  • 1 cup(s) orzo or broken vermicelli (pasta)
  • 4 tablespoon(s) butter

Melt butter in a large saucepan. Stir in orzo and cook until golden brown. Add rice, salt, pepper, and chicken broth to the rice mixture. Turn to high heat until rice comes to a boil.
