Sweet Hot Tofu

  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 1 (3 1/2-ounce) bag boil-in-bag long-grain rice
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 (14-ounce) package firm reduced-fat tofu, cut into (1-inch) cubes
  • 2/3 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
    • 2 teaspoons bottled minced garlic
    • 1 tablespoon sherry
    • 2 teaspoons bottled minced fresh ginger
    • ½ teaspoon dark sesame oil
    • 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
    • Dash of crushed red pepper

Prepare rice according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Heat canola oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu, and sauté 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
