Top Butt Steak with Whiskey Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 2- to 2 1/4-pounds boneless top butt sirloin steak (about 1 inch thick)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ teaspoon cider vinegar
- ½ cup whiskey
- 2 tablespoons shallot
- 1 cup chicken stock or low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard

Pat steak dry and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt and 3/4 teaspoon pepper.
