Warm Spiced Lentils

Ingredients

• 3 bay leaves
• 1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt
• ¾ cup tomato puree
• 2 cups chopped onion
• 1 tablespoon finely chopped peeled fresh ginger
• 2 tablespoons minced garlic
• 2 teaspoons ground cumin
