  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 4 (16-ounce) cans cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon granulated sugar
  • Dash of hot sauce (optional)
  • 4 celery ribs, diced
  • 2 fresh thyme sprigs
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup loosely packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
    • 1 teaspoon canola oil
    • 4 cups chopped, seeded tomatoes
    • 1 red onion, diced
    • 1 white onion, diced
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • Gremolata

1. Sauté first 4 ingredients in hot oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat 5 to 10 minutes or until tender. Add tomatoes and sugar; cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes.
