Whole Turkey or Chicken Brine


  • 1/3 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 2 gallon(s) water (cold)
  • 2 tablespoon(s) minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon(s) black pepper
  • ¼ cup(s) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ cup(s) kosher salt

Mix all in a large pail, place meat in brine & then into the fridge. Let meat soak 1 hour for every 1 pound of meat. After soak, rinse meat with cold water, then off to the grill, smoker or oven.
