Wild Rice with Sautéed Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 4 ounce(s) mushroom slices, canned or fresh
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 3 teaspoon(s) chicken base (or beef base if serving rice with red meat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup(s) wild rice

    • 3 ¼ cup(s) water
    • 3 or 4 stalks of celery, chopped
