Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese with Bacon Sage Breadcrumbs

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced sage
  • 2 cups crumbled sourdough bread crumbs
  • 5 slices cooked bacon
  • 2 cups low fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup chicken broth
    • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cubed
    • 12 ounces rotini pasta
