Caramelized Chestnuts and Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- ¼ cup(s) sugar
- ¼ cup(s) homemade chicken stock or canned chicken stock
- ¾ pound(s) shelled chestnuts - fresh, jarred or frozen
- ½ cup(s) cider vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 pound(s) brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
